Well, after a looong break from offroading I finally came back!!  If you have read round the rest of the site then you will know that I stopped using the SJ at the end of 2007 and focused on some other projects etc.  When I started getting it all put back together after working on it I decided to try and make the first woodlands of the new year, but got turned away because we were about 15 mins too late and they were already full!  So this month we made sure we got there early!

We had a quick wander round the site so I could re-familiarize myself with the car, and soon wound up in the middle area to see what we had been missing!

Then went for another wander and found this!

I love this photo! and try as I might, I couldn't get out of that hole!

So I had to reverse round and take the easy route.

This rangey was then blocking the run out to the carpark, he'd lost all drive and was stuck fast, so we gave him a tug!

I was just as surprised as everyone else that it managed to pull it out so well!

We had another look in the middle area and noticed a load of people all crowded around, so parked up to see what they were looking at..

And this kindly marshal started to winch him out, coupled with two other trucks on the other side.  Go check out the video section to see them pulling it out.

Once he was right way up again he managed to get it started and drove out the rest of the run!

Albeit a little smokey!

Then went for one more trip round the site before heading home!

Got it all washed at the finish and even managed to drive home!! all in all, a completely successful day!!
