Ok, The other day I was looking around the sight and it occurred to me that there are no pics of my Road SJ! I have owned her for almost 18 months and I havent put any pics up! shame on me! I remember taking pics when I got it and I remember uploading the pics onto the web server but for some reason I never actually wrote the web page!?
Anyway, its here now, Meet Titch:

This is how she stands at the moment, mods so far are SPOA conversion, 2" body lift, 31 mt's, Rhino Ray HD front bumper, roof mounted spots and plenty more to come!
She
looked nothing like this when I got her though. When I got her she had 2"
shackles and 215 Colway A/T's.. apart from that she was standard! Alas I
can't find any pics of when I picked her up but this is fairly close:
Picture her without the roof lights and a white bullbar then you will get the idea.
I son removed the shackles because they made the ride horribly vague and the springs were looking a little worse for ware, and replaced it with a 2" body lift!
I used 2" box for my lift because I can get as much as I want for free from dads work and it seems to be plenty strong.
As this is an early type (A-Reg) SJ it has a different dash as well!
However becuase of this style of dash I had to bend the gearstick so it cleared after the body lift. I also had to cut a section of the floor so that I could select 2nd, 4th and reverse!
I later added these spot lights to the roof! I believe they originated as emergency lights at my dads work!
I have wired them so they come on with main beam and when they are actually facing the right direction they really make quite a bit of difference to the visibility! (I painted the brackets after I took this photo, and the silicone was just to stop it rotating when I was tightening it!)
