This was my first ever visit to Woodlands.  My friend also had an sj410 at the time and continually tried to get me and my dad to go with him.  A few months before the day his brother in law and himself towed a little sj410 down to our place.  At the time it was a non-runner.  They brought it down and left it on our drive to fiddle with - they wanted £200 for it and we reluctantly handed them the money, seeing as we were not quite convinced that we would be keeping it yet.  Well anyway, we managed to get the car to work - after a lot of cleaning and fiddling with the wiring we managed to get her to turn over (at last).  So... on to the main event!

Very nice Vitara running 35" tyres!  Well nicknamed 'Viagra Vitara'

A very nice purple Vitara entering the Road To Hell

This V8 Bobtail Range Rover has managed to get himself

stuck on the Road To Hell

This Range Rover took a different path and managed to get through

with a good deal of spray behind him.

This SJ is really being pounded to make it up the hill, as you can see

from the smoke coming from the exhaust.

He continued to pound it until he made it out of the pit.  He was running

a Ford 1.6 Escort Crossflow engine - pity he ripped the sump plug out

doing this hill. (whoops)

This Land Rover went into this run so fast and hard that all of the

stuff in the back jumped around, the blue thing was lying down!

Here he is again, smoking his wheels on Wipeout Hill.

Here is the V8 Bobtail taking the same path and having no problems whatsoever.

Here is a greatly modified Jeep Wrangler with a woman driver, amazingly

she didn't crash once. (lol)

The guy driving this Lada was pushing it so hard on previous runs that

he had already bust the rear axle, when he took this run he bust the

front axle as well. Oh dear.

A great little SJ getting some air, notice the articulation already

being pushed to the limit.

This is an almost standard SJ which has taken on one of the black runs

and gotten himself stuck.  Notice the rear door radiator mod.
